I am so very fond of visiting Riverbeds. Being there at the heart of it, gives such an amazing feeling. Though, I dread the turbulent side of it, which is very scary for the fainthearted. During such times, when the flow of water is turbulent and so fierce with the roaring sound of the water, in the river, I choose to stay away!!!

When glaciers melt slowly and the water level is down to below average, I literally rush to the riverbed. Its provides, such an immense fulfillment of the fact that its the same place, where ferocious river also flows, during certain period of the year, you are standing in its domain, that too with a sense of pleasure, joy and sheer excitement of being there.

The crystal clear water, stunningly wonderful green surroundings, being with nature, the element of solitude, the energy, the freshness around you, the pebbles on the riverbed and the pebbles visible in the water, the sand on the riverbed...all of these gives me such an awesome feeling and then I ask myself...

How many of us, do really really care for the nature...?

Make efforts, to save it, preserve its beauty...!

Educate, guide and understand amongst ourselves, to protect it for the future generations!
