Golden Sunset in Russian country
Having sat down on a bicycle I went round a large village in which my parents live in the summer. The village is called Gustomesovo.
The Church of the Assumption in the village of Gustomesovo of the former Nerekhtsky district (now Krasnoselsky district) is an example of the Russian parish church. In the architectural style, the influence of modernity is noticeable.
The church is located in the western part of the village, located on the high bank of the Volga. The temple is built of bricks. Before the erection of a brick church on this site was a wooden Uspensky church. The inscription on the western wall says that "this temple was built in 1897 and consecrated on December 10, 1906 for parish funds." Kostroma architect N.Gorlitsyn was engaged in construction.
There was evening and there was a very beautiful yellow-red sunset. The sun saw above the distant forest and painted the sky in bright colors. It's great that I have now a photo backpack for my camera. You can always carry my camera and a couple of lenses. And I use Canon 5d, which is quite a lot of weight.
Especially I was lucky in the sense that I saw an old log cabin. It was so old and rotten that through the holes in the bowl you could see the sun. This caught my attention. As a result, we received warm colorful photos.
I looked for information about the history of the village Gustomesovo on the Internet and did not find anything special. The only interesting fact is that there are chances that robbers led by Stepan Razin walked in this area. According to legend, the great robbery treasure of Stepan Razin himself can be buried near the village of Gustomesovo.
Do not be surprised if one day a farmer, working on the ground, accidentally finds a treasure.
