Part 1 is here.
As mentioned earlier, the presence of ice on Jack London's lake and the absence of a boat made moving to the stream of the Unknown Unknown extremely difficult. The attempt to take the boat to the weather station ended in some disappointment with confusion in half. Maksim's plans for a photo tour for his clients were completely upset. He tried to take action that was aimed to squelch the situation and make events go according to his plan, but it was physically impossible. To which I told him that sometimes you need to take the situation and make the most of it. Making the reality to reckon with your plans is impossible, so if it began to develop along a different channel, then this can not be fixed, just to adjust and stay in the flow. Only then everything will turn out well and turn out as if by itself. The first hours Max was upset by the current situation, it was clear that he was very responsible to his obligations and was accustomed to bringing the matter to the end.

Whatever one may say, it was necessary to rebuild the route and I suggested alternative directions, accessible without titanic efforts to combat reality. Further, Max perfectly coped with everything on his own, and the very next day and did say that it's even better and more interesting turns out than planned and this could not be disagreed. No matter how much I wanted to go to the mountains, the alternative was also very tempting. As a man accustomed to such force majeure, I need to make similar adjustments to the plan of action, like clicking with two fingers.

On the way back we stayed in the camp "Battle" on the Lake of the Dancing Graylings and talked to the caretakers, Sergey and Yura. Taking the opportunity, I asked to visit a few days later to charge the quadopters. Toward evening, Maxim and his group went along the bank towards the river Purga, and I went with my friend to Krugloye lake for fishing, without forgetting the camera. We went along the entire route of the Variants and caught three large graylings, this was enough for the soup to a company of 6 people. On the evening fishing to Krugloma, accompanied by a dog resembling a wolf came guys from the "Battle", I left with them my companion and went to a picturesque puddle, wait for the sunset.

In the ideal mirror of the reservoir, the peaks of the Big Anguchak ridge were reflected. Having chosen a camera angle, he photographed the peak Aborigen, once considered the highest point in the Magadan Region. Its height is 2287 meters. My waiting lasted 2.5 hours, during which time I even had time to freeze and I had to build a fire.

The dog beside the owner became completely bored, seeing my movements from puddle to fire and back, he twisted around the bushes allegedly something there found and moved in my direction. By the time he approached the puddle, I was already at a point looking at the mountains, which had acquired slightly warm shades. The dog went out onto the rock and stood up, looked at the mountains behind him and turned back to me. All that remained was just to throw the camera and take a picture. This dog seemed to be specially posing for me. It was the best reward for waiting.

This evening the mountains did not light up, but on the way back there was a good light on the clouds.

Transparent water, grassy hummocks, mountains and soft evening light did not leave indifferent. While installing a tripod directly in front of me from the channel in the lake came a large grayling. He did not even pay attention to me, slowly wagging his reddish tail disappeared behind the hummocks. Well, let her walk, catching fish is enough for us, dinner will be all right.

In the morning, after shooting this sphere, I lost the drone. He fell about a kilometer away from the takeoff. That I just did not change my mind while I ran this flyer. I saved money for this drone throughout the year, collecting so much for the month will not be so easy. But in fact very soon I have to go here for a month and half of the shooting is designed for this technique. A lot of thoughts, but not a single solution. A little later, after analyzing what happened, I came to the conclusion that this was my fault completely. You can not shoot immediately on two cameras, leaving the equipment back to the automation. The control panel hung on my neck and, due to the weight of the tablet, turned upside down with the control knobs and one of them caught on to the clothes. Dron obediently flew where it was said. He flew a little farther than the Jaeger house, where I started to plant it manually, returning it to the road. During the landing, the connection with the drones disappeared. To my happiness, he fell into the bushes near the road, the batteries were discharged to 1%. But the main thing is that everything was whole!

In the evening, following the new plan, we all the group went to the Kudinovskie lakes and the hill of the poacher. I was loaded with a suitcase with a quadrocopter, a camera, lenses, filters and a tripod. He climbed up to the Jaeger house with his tongue hanging out. A year without hikes made itself felt. Above me the whole team was waiting. Guy came running after me from our camp. It was clear from the dog that he was in a great hurry to catch up with us. The hosts never appeared, the whole hike accompanied us, cut circles on the tundra, raised partridges on the wing and squashed mice. In my opinion, he ran all the lakes that are just there. What kind of atomic battery is in this dog? On the plateau we split, Maxim led his photographers to a large lake, and I left the drone on the road, went to shoot a group of small lakes, surrounded by a bright ctenophore. Here I was attacked by joyous mosquitoes and in this company I shot a blooming swamp. In some places the rhododendrons have already blossomed, small florets of purple sparkled the florets of the carnivorous chickenpox, cloudberry blossomed.

Pass the bright red moss, too, did not have the strength, even took a spherical panorama. From mosquitoes repellents were not saved, they instantly licked this chemistry. In order not to inhale the mosquitoes tightly buttoned the mosquito net on his suit. When shooting, it was necessary to move away from the camera, thereby luring mosquitoes away from the lens. After a lot of crawling around the swamp, I went to catch up with the others.

On a large lake came just in time for the sunset. It was cold, the open water began to become covered with thin ice. Komarov did not stop at all, even if they were blocked by the cold, they hoped to snatch a drop of hot blood. Insatiable creatures.

I wanted to take a fire on the background of the lake and mountains. We quickly organized a fire of small branches and dry yagel, which gave a high flame with a minimum of firewood. I took it off to the camera.

And took off on the phone.

Guy is a very strange dog. He was interested in bright "flies" flying from the fire and he began to catch them.

Have thrown still jagels and have received fiery cha-cha-cha. Not bad for the phone. After the photo session with the fire, we caught up with the rest of the group, they drank tea and went to the hills. By dawn had to climb to the top. From the lake to the summit, the path was constantly uphill, while striding along the springy bumps was not at all fun. Mosquitoes did not lag behind, on the slope of the hill, instead of the expected breeze, there were more mosquitoes. According to the Even calendar, the new year begins with the first rays of the sun after the shortest night on the day of the summer solstice.

We met the Even New Year at the top of the hill in the company of bloodsuckers, but it was worth it, from here we had a wonderful view of the winding riverbed of the river Purga, the ice-covered lake of Jack London, numerous tundra lakes and the Great Anchachak ridge. At several points I took spherical panoramas and lifted the drone into the air, because it was not for nothing that I dragged it. He planted all the batteries, it's time to make a visit to the camp on the Lake of the Dancing Graylings, and at the same time to return the prodigal dog to its owner.

To be continued.

Alexey Voron.

The photos are made in raw on Nikon D3s, DJI Inspire 2, smartphone Huawei Honor 9.
