Back to another session of macro photography.

Since I turned my attention to the macro world, I began to pay attention to details and organisms that normally go unnoticed.
Thinking of flexibility, I bought this small macro lens so as not to miss a record, since the mobile phone is "the" tool that nowadays accompanies us everywhere, and since the lens is quite small, it can be taken to everywhere.

Today after lunchtime, while taking a short walk, I noticed this well-known organism clinging to the wall and decided to pull out the lens and take some pictures on a macro scale.

This organism is known to us all, as it is present everywhere, giving color and contrast to roofs and walls and anything it can grasp.
I went to investigate and managed to identify the organism, it is the lichen whose name is Xanthoria parietina.

These organisms have a great longevity having the ability to thrive in extreme environments.
Unlike most living things, it is tricky to say when a lichen is alive or dead. A few drops of water can "resurrect" him even after several years of dryness.
This seen more closely, in a narrower frame presents itself with an almost alien environment.
It is hard to imagine this scenario when we observe it with the naked eye.

Allow me to present you one technique used to shoot some of these macros through a short visual tutorial:

Among the various possible techniques to shoot macros, this is perhaps the most affordable and effective technique for those who have a camera with removable lens.
We can simply remove the lens and reverse the direction, and by using an inverter ring it ends up being more comfortable and facilitates the process.

These photos weren't taken with a tripod, hence the unclear result.
The use of a tripod and shutter is highly recommended.
