Awaiting the winter days...
Spending some quality time in nature is one of the priorities at this point for me. These photos were taken in February this year in the forest nearby my home. Exploring woods in the winter is a completely different experience compared to summer - there's something about crackling of the branches, traces in the snow and cold air that makes you let go of everything and start seeing things differently.
I used to dread cold weather and spend it watching from my window with a hot drink and rarely going out; now I can't wait till it starts snowing again.

The forest is even more magical in the winter I think.. something about the contrast of the snow against the bark.. the eerie silence that makes you hear and see things you might have missed in the summer. It’s stunning. My favorite is in the early morning when everything is covered in the glittery frost and the morning light is hitting it just right ☺️.. ok, now I’m ready for winter too.

I've actually rarely went on a morning winter walk, will have to try that out cause it makes more sense. :) Now we just wait for the snow to come. Thanks for the beautiful comment!
Yes, it’s the best... the lighting is stunning. I’m looking forward to snow... it will be here before we know it. In fact, today I saw a forecast for possible snow on Monday 😬
