El Royal Ballet es la primera compañía de ballet del Reino Unido. Se ha caracterizado por la diversidad de sus bailarines y coreógrafos, que suelen proceder de disimiles países, tanto de Europa, Asia, Australia y América Latina.
    

    
En el año 2009, en La Habana tuvimos la oportunidad de recibir a la famosa compañía, que fue fundada en 1931 por la bailarina, coreógrafa y empresaria Ninette de Valois.
