There are sad kitties too, aren't there... 😿
Yup, unfortunately, not even kitties are spared from the harsh cruel world out there... and prone to much sadness...
Why do people abandon their pets?
Cats, dogs, rabbits, mice, hamsters, etc etc
And when they are defenceless out there, I see injured and sick kitties who grew up with humans in a 'happy' home, then suddenly thrown out into the world when they are no longer young and cute, a world they do not know... and I worry how they will take care of themselves or get better... 😥
This is the second kitty I've seen seemingly with cat flu, with snot running down its little kitty nose... - the first one I ran after, trying to wipe off the snot and I did succeed! And this little one, he looks so sad... and scrawny... as he is a newly abandoned one.
He's probably still wondering what happened, why he isn't home any more... and how he's going to get food.
We do have some good samaritans who feed the kitties and someone also takes the kitties to be neutered.
After awhile a few do get adopted and find their forever home... at least that's what I like to think when I don't see some any more...
He didn't want to eat much, but wanted some company so sat near us

I can see he's a handsome boy, lovely eyes despite the runny nose
Just thin and needing more food
I'm a regular at this mamak so I know the regular kitties
And they are mostly all neutered with tipped ears
This one is a newbie

I must look to see if I can find him again when I next go to the mamak
Hopefully he would have gotten better, and adapting well
And please care for your pets
They regard us as family
As we should too!

Yes.. we are their family the moment we decide to adopt them and take them home. They should be treated as members!

Happy belated Caturday... yeah, most of the kitties there at the mamak (local eatery) are doing well now, then we see some new ones that are terrified and in a sad state... sad....
