🎶Meanwhile, some music for you to enjoy as you read. This piece is part of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, particular the second of the 4 violin concertos, called Summer.

Violin Concerto in G minor, RV 315 'Summer' - Complete Concerto
I was there to attend a talk on Mining. The speaker was Gordon Ao, the CEO of Innosilicon which is a company that make mining machines and lots of them.
And… there was free food.
After the talk, the university presented the speaker a token of appreciation which is quite normal practice.
What is not expected is the speaker returned the favour with a mining machine for the university.
Whoa…. Who want to work with the university to do some mining?

Want to have your post on the map too?
I have always had an interest in a mining machine, they are worth about US $ 20,000, which I do not know if it is profitable and how much time is amortized.
Good thing you've seen this presentation dear friend @ ace108
I wish you a wonderful weekend
Thank you. I think besides the money, there's also the tech skills required to get these things up and doing what is necessary.
Have a good Sunday
That is very cool. I have always been interested but never was sure if it was worth the cost.
It's not cheap and the running is also an issue unless you are in place where they pay you to consume power. That guy said there's such place.
