Attended the 3rd job interview this week today for 3rd job. Hopefully, I'm lucky in one of them. Waited for the whole morning for my turn which came only after noon. After that hungry enough. Started walking towards the Kampong Glam area from Lavender MRT train station looking for lunch and I passed by Malabar Mosque which was completed in 1963.

Then I saw Sultan Mosque. This has an even older history. Completed in 1932. It's more a travel destination compared to the earlier one.

Ah... the food stores across North Bridge Road. That was where I was heading.

I sat at the corner near the outside and saw they have seats upstairs. Later, a whole big group of people which I guessed came from some tour bus went upstairs.

I was having the mutton nasi biryani for $7. Looks boring?

Au contraire. The meat is inside and it was good. Too bad my lady is not into this kind of food or I can come back more.

After lunch, I was on another mission. Crossed to the road and passed the mosque at the entrance on the other side and look up.

As I walked away, more people were also taking photos from this angle nearer to the mosque but I decided I have not taken one from further away.

Closing in on the 2nd mission. I don't come this area often so I was looking for the Rich and Good Cake shop. Price have gone up.

The strange lady in front of me asked the lady in the shop if they still have durian flavour and how many they have. Like she wanted buy the whole lot. Then she said she wanted one but didn't have money and asked where the nearest ATM was. Seriously? Go away. I got my 2 boxes: one durian and one kaya and off to the bus stop.

At the bus stop, I got on bus service number 145. Same service I took when I came. Free WIFI to here and free WIFI back but not much use since it wasn't a long ride.

Many street art has popped up in the last few years. The cake.... one colour for one flavor
