📷Chinese New Year Day 2 and what’s for dinner | 年初二又能吃什么晚餐 😎(by @ace108)
Day 2 of Chinese New Year. Went visiting aunts and uncles. and took this picture. This picture has a view through to Potong Pasir town. The green field used to have 2 rows for terrace factory like the building with the blue roof on the right from what I remembered. After they were removed, the green field was created and was there for a long time. Sometimes, I see herons there. In the middle, there was a parking area for heaving vehicles like buses and trucks but that area has also be cleared. On the green field now, I noticed a sign saying it's land of JTC which means some kind of factory (most likely big) building is going to come up one day. So, the green field is probably going to be gone.

At my uncle's place, I saw this red packet. Coincidentally, the words on it was same as the Chinese New Year couplet I put up at my home entrance this year.
在叔叔家，我见到这红吧。碰巧，上面的字跟我今年挂在门口的对联是一样的。
After a rather long day, time to worry about dinner. Too lazy to drive to the airport. Good thing for multi-racial Singapore. I know of a non-Chinese place near home. This one at Lorong 4 Toa Payoh. I think they open 24 hours too.
出去了一整天也该想晚餐怎么解决。懒得开车去机场。还好新加坡多元种族。我知道有个非中餐的地方在家附近。 这家在大巴窑4巷。好像是24小时都开。
Their mee goreng (fried noodles) is mostly good though sometimes the standard varies. Sorry, you cannot see them under the fried egg.
他们的炒面都不错。只有时候会失水准。抱歉，这次，面藏在蛋的下面。
The ginger tea here is always refreshing.
这里的姜茶每次都会让我清醒。
Murtabak can be pretty heavy. This one has sardine as filling inside.
Murtabak 一个人吃起来有时会很大份。这里面有沙丁鱼。
So, besides sharing the noodles, my wife and I were sharing this.
所以，除了两人分了那盘面，这murtabak也是两人分享。
Now, next time come Chinese New Year, you have another idea for food. :-) 现在，大家在下次农历新年时该有多点选择了。:-)
