Haven't been to taiji practice for a long time. Last Saturday, I was back there. One of the familiar site is these bamboos.
好久没去练太极拳了。上星期六归队。一个常见的情景是这些竹。

较少见到的是地上这竹笋所以也拍了几张照片。
Then someone notice this small stalk with few small flowers which were not easy to spot.
然后有人注意到这小棵长了出来有点小花，可不容易看到的。
Anyway, I took a few close up photos of the really small flowers here.
反正就拍几张近距离的照片。这花真小。
One of the taiji buddies told me it's bamboo flower and bamboo seldom has flower. I don't know if it is true. Do you?
有一太极拳团友告诉我说竹花和竹是很少开花的。我可不知是与非。你知道吗？

Yes! Bamboo will flower before they die! So they make sure that their seeds will germinate and the family line lives on!
Some old bamboos in my neighborhood flowered like crazy before they withered and died off. So, new bamboo shoots will grow in the rainy season!
You remind me that I am a very lazy student in Tai Chi!
I’d better start practicing tomorrow!
