Monsoon Pain - Mumbai fights the Rains
Monsoon season had started a month ago in Mumbai , India and the rains have already started creating an havoc.
Today morning a foot over bridge collapsed over the busy Mumbai railways. 7 people walking on the bridge are seriously injured. The whole Railway line had to be shutdown and it will take nearly 8-9 hours for the debris to be cleared.
This Picture was taken by me when I was waiting to catch my train , but the train service was halted. What luck!!! I clicked it with the thunder in the background
Railways are the lifeline for the people of Mumbai and they use it daily to commute to and fro from work to home.
Time and again we face such disastrous incidents in our city , but the local body administrators keep on blaming each other about under which jurisdiction the incident had happened.
So sad that the system is not pro active . Our country has never learnt from the past . Lives are lost and damage is done. Later the Lazy ADMIN WAKES UP . I'm sure this will also be put under the carpet and lost forever. We PEOPLE are just HELPLESS :(
However the Mumbai spirit needs to be praised , eventhough for so many issues, people still managed to reach their work and found alternate mode of transport to reach their destination :) :)

I think it's happening because of corruption and dirty system .
That has now become a system on its own. Corruption and politics go hand in hand and are creating havoc :(
@aashucryptocharm the picture shows how lightening in mumbai take place and how dangerous it is but it is necessary because with monsoon we might not get water to drink and without it our farmers cannot grow their land
I agree monsoon is required for human survival !!
What a picture you have clicked! A perfect shot! Ossom! And what about the rain of mumbai....Mumbai always stops whenever there is rain....
Yes, bad infrastructure over the years has hampered Mumbai's growth
So dad that's way we are behind .Because government don't take action about theses thinks
Compliance audit to check the sustainability of infrastructure was not conducted properly and has caused this incident :(
