I was looking at the detail of this cool Gingerbread house in the Bergdorf Goodman windows when someone about to enter the building told me he worked on the displays and all the candy and confectionery in the window displays was real candy and such, such as this gingerbread house is actually made of real gingerbread and icing, I joked it must have been hard to resist not eating it, and he said don't worry there was some houses and other candies that didn't make it to the display and they did enjoy those.
So when I have told people the Bergdorf good man windows were sweet this year I did mean that literally.

Now I know a certain Nebraska School principle would hate this window with his issue with candy canes because they are shaped like J for Jesus, which I find ridiculous and I thought it was such a well done window, especialy considering much of it is made with real canduy canes

And if you prefer Candy Floss, which is what I know it as but apparently it can also be called fairy floss, spun sugar, or sugar cotton wool, its not something I have had since I was young, but I think how cool it is used to decorate this window

Now if the other items do not strike your fancy how about cakes and cookies as they have filled this window display with

The reflections off the window take away from this shot but it also has such cool detail and they even went with a monochrome style window with candies which I thought was a great idea to take a break from all the rich colors

Now it was pretty cold this morning so I wasn't tempted to want an Ice crema after seeing this window, and for the record. I must say I was good, these windows did trigger my sweet tooth but I managed to resist and did not stop somewhere to buy some sweet treats after seeing these windows
