This is "False Kiva" a little gem of a place in a cave inside Canyonlands National Park, USA. The path to get here is unmarked and there are no signs to tell you where you park, you have to find it. I like to do it at night, careful though, there are 100+ foot cliffs.

Camera: Nikon D810
Lens: Nikkor 14-24mm 2.8

Two exposures; foreground: 14mm/ƒ/4/30s/ISO 200 background: 14mm/ƒ/2.8/20s/ISO 6400 taken about two hours apart.

    Magnificent!! Some awesome astro alignments going on :-)
    Ever go to these places when it is solstices or equinoxes, sunrise
    and sunsets? So many places are aligned to these cycles and
    much more.

    What a fantastic view, must just be magical to be there!
    What time of year was this photo taken?
    The dark rift shows up real well, almost looks like a horse shape.
