I can relate to this. The totally bonkers stuff we sometimes do to get the shot we want... I have almost destroyed gear on multiple occasions.
i feel you. i did so many stupid shits to get the shoot, even risking my health not only the gear :))

Niciodata nu am reusit sa prind luminile orasului noaptea, orice as fi incercat. In iasi este o zona numita " Releu" unde poti vedea tot orasul, de sus.Atunci cand este ceata , este extraordinar de fain, stiu ca incercasem cu un Nikon d3300 cu un telefoto sa prind ceva , dar oricat as fi modificat ISO sau expunerea, mereu imi iesea in ceata, sau abia vizibil.

Adauga si un trepied in mix si incearca sa tragi intre momentul cand se aprind luminile si cand se intuneca. Ai cam 30 de minute la dispoziție. Also vezi la tele pune timer si mirror up ca orice tremurat se simte amplificat
