The small fishing village of Portofino is one of the most beautiful places in the Italian region of Liguria. Despite its only 416 inhabitants, Portofino is quite famous and a popular destination for tourists from all over the world. And a day trip is definitely worth it, especially in combination with a walk to the Abbey of San Fruttuoso which is just a few kilometres away and can only be reached on foot or by boat.
Das kleine Fischerdorf Portofino ist einer der schönsten Orte der italienischen Region Ligurien. Trotz seiner nur 416 Einwohner, ist Portofino ziemlich bekannt und ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel für Touristen aus aller Welt. Und einen Tagesausflug ist dieses wunderschöne Örtchen auf jeden Fall wert, vor allem in Kombination mit einer Wanderung zur wenige Kilometer entfernten Abtei von San Fruttuoso, die nur zu Fuß oder mit dem Schiff erreicht werden kann.

A very nice photo! Seems such a lovely ambiance. It reminds me of Mali Lošinj - the biggest island city in Croatian archipelago...
Thanks a lot! Never been to Mali Lošinj so far, but a lot of other places and Islands along the croatian coastline, and you're right, it's quite similar! ☺
Italians & Croatians share a long history together since the Roman Empire... I still haven't gotten a chance to travel the Italian coastline yet & still haven't visited many of the Croatian islands but I'm planning to do both in the nearest future!
