Southern Oregon
Until I moved to Oregon, I assumed most of the state looked like the lush forests of Central Western Oregon. While this is true for a small portion of the state, the southern an eastern part are far more arid. This is due to the mountains which hold moisture on the western side.
I too was shocked that eastern Oregon and Washington look remarkably like most of the West. I always figured they were like a giant oasis out there! Cool pic :)

Thanks! I was a bit worried about the lighting being too harsh but with a little post-processing I was pretty happy with it.

Thanks! It was one of the stranger hikes I've been on, all the hiking paths were flooded so they offered some nice reflections.
