Keep It Golden
It’s 5:30am and I’m quietly sneaking out of my friends apartment. I’m leaving on a bike trip and as much as your friends want to say goodbye it’s a little unnecessary anytime before 9am.
Bike packed & stereo on I carefully pedal through the mission district, down market street making my way over to the Embarcadero and Piers. It’s been awhile since I rocked a fully loaded touring bike so although it’s not that far it took way longer than it should. It was one of those moments where you think you have tons of time and then BAM the sun is up, somedays it feels like someone flicks the lights on instantly.
I wanted to catch sunrise with a coffee and a couple clicks. I just made it, here’s the result. I’ll save more cycle stories for another time...

The Mavic Pro has such a good camera on it... and the gold on the buildings in the middle is just incredible! I love this so much... dammit.
(I'm only angry because I'm definitely going to have to get a drone before the year is out... the good thing is that the latest DJI looks incredible!)
haha thanks dude! The light makes such a difference if you get it right the pictures turn out pretty good. The Mavic constantly surprises me, for such a small sensor and lens it packs a decent punch. I'm keen to get a closer look at the Mavic Air too, I think it's on par with the Mavic Pro to be honest.
Yeah, Casey Neistat did a video comparing the two... including side by side video.... the Mavic Pro still has nicer footage, but man it's so close that you'd hardly notice.

One of the best angles I've seen of San Francisco. You don't see the Ferry Building and Transamerica Pyramid in the same shot that often. Nice capture.
