Norwegian landscapes - Foggy night with the full moon - Full Gallery & vid
Hello friends!
Continuing the subject of my latest best night shooting - full gallery this time and the movie from the location as a bonus :).
Just a short word of introduction and I will let the pictures speak for themselves. In such matter no addictional comment is needed nor desired. Wish the Steemit has ability to create full screen slideshows... Maybe some day.
Location is well known for all of You who follow my posts - Nordgruvefeltet mining area in middle Norway. If You wish to read more information about this place, please visit my latest post from "Travel Norway" series: https://steemit.com/travelfeed/@photovisions/travel-norway-14-colorful-grounds-of-nordgruvefeltet-1-before-sunset
After I took the shots presented in the post linked above, I took a small brake to feed the body, drink some stuff and change the gear.
I spotted the fog gathering in a distant valley above the river flowing from Orvsjoen lake. The nights are bright in June so I knew I will have good light for such session. I took my camera with zoom lens attached (70-300 from Canon) and a tripod - something "must have" during night photography, especially when shooting from a zoom lens.
On the way to the river area...
Silhouettes of the small, bonsai-shaped trees around were such beautifull in the fog....
The river area, looking at distant mountains and watching the layers of landscape separated by fog and low clouds...
The river Orva and the old wooden bridge from a distant...
Long exposure shot with the moon using my wide 16-35mm lens.
The fog above the river was very dinamic, please watch the movie from the link attached below. Please feel free to comment if You like it, it was my first video creation ever :).
The pink, orange, violet colours of the fog depends of the place and amount of light was an interesting phenomenon.
The big, panoramic shot of the "smoking" river Orva. You could see this before on my blog in a separate post, together with the "making of" description.
If You want to feel some more atmosphere of the place and that night, please watch the video with a music made by Biosphere (who is by the way also from Norway).

I don't know if You liked it but for me it was one of the most atmospheric night spent in a wild since a looong time, that is why I am sharing so many posts from the location, and from that night... forgive me please ;).

Truly incredible photos, again :) Are you familiar with landscape paintings of late XIX c. masters? The atmosphere is pretty much alike.
Thanks for such great comment and comparison to the real artists :) but I agree, they are quite magical and have this painting-like style somehow ;)
Mist makes everything look so ethereal, haunting and magical :) Always amazing posts!
Thank You :)
By the say I don't know if you know a program on discord hosted by m1neevent and Poeticsnake but they're looking for guests to feature in the show... You should totally contact them.
Oh so magical - thanks for sharing!
Happy You like it! Enjoy :)
That's cool! I would be happy if i did such great work!
Really nice to read such words, thanks a lot for support!
I just think you made all the best and I think it wasn't easy. To be there waiting for the sun and fog.... it's great
Thanks again, You know, to be there and waiting - it is the best part :)... more hard work is to choose and process the images for presentation, hard to pick from a hundreds of them taken...
I looked at your site and I have to say you are very cool! Wounderful photos. I think I'm a pbotographer too but when I see such great photos I think I'm not a photographer... just a man who likes make photos...
Thanks but I am not sure about that... If You love photography, it means You are photographer. What means to be a "photographer", I dont have any certificate for that, so I think everyone, who love the subject, who want to develop his skills, experience and knowledge about making photos - can call himself photographer. The results are not always the best, I can say practice is making You better and better. All You need is a good will and imagination, good results will come in time! Keep shooting and explore the photography matter in many ways!
These colors are spectacular!
Agree, and all of them in one place... nature is a great artist! Thanks a lot!

So beautiful, great pictures, and great video, with music to suit the ambiance of landscape enveloped in fog. You have taken amazing pictures, and with the mist it looks mysterious and exciting. Thank you for sharing.😀👍🏻
