Norwegian landscapes - Desert beach high in the mountains

Hello Friends!

Just came back from my 3 days trip with my family to Trollheimen mountains and national park in middle Norway.

Today just one shot from the location we went to - Gjevilvetnet lake.

Unique place!

Just imagine the huuuge golden sandy beach by the big lake, partly frozen, surrounded by snowy mountains. All situated high in the mountains.
Some parts of the sand was still covered by snow but it was hot enough that I can walk on the sand bare feet.

Fantastic time, relax with family, some grilling, some shooting, sun bathing...

Water level in the lake is so low that the beach is twice as big as I saw it last time.

What a place!!!

    Thanks, it is quite unique place. Never had enough time for proper exploration, because the whole lake around is surrounded by large beach now with such low water level. And the lake itself is huge, need like 2-3 days there to walk around it...
