Photofeed Weekly Winner #8 - @cam.mcfarlane

in #photofeed7 years ago

Welcome to the Photofeed Weekly Winner post! Every week we go through and we choose our personal favorites from the resteemed lot, and then whittle it down until we have only one standing.

Our cream of the crop this week was this simple and incredibly-timed shot by @cam.mcfarlane. Everything about this picture is so serene and beautiful. It has simple colors and composition, but still manages to to illustrate the power and freedom found in nature. Check out @cam.mcfarlane's page for other amazing pictures (his wave pictures especially are definitely worth a good, long look!).

The weekly winner will receive half of of the rewards from this post, and the other half will be used to increase future rewards for photographers. In addition to upvotes by the wonderful @cryptocopus, we reward the photographers that we feature by sending half of the rewards from every daily round-up back to the photographers featured in that post. We've continued to payout the photographers from the daily round-ups, and as Photofeed grows, so will the rewards.

Also, join our curation trail at steemauto.com to help reward amazing photography and earn some juicy curation rewards for yourself!

As always, if you would like your image removed from this post, leave a comment below and we'll remove it immediately.

wow that is great . I love it

After seeing this picture, the first word that pop into my head is "Freedom".

I agree, dolphins are to intelligent to be locked up in pools

Wow! Honoured thanks so much for the ongoing support @photofeed its been amazing!

Hey, congratulations, @cam.mcfarlane, love that photo. The effortless elegance of that dolphin! I wonder what it's trying to tell us? "So long, and thanks for all the fish?"

Thanks Derek! Hahaha that sounds pretty good to me!

This dolphin is happy because he's not held prisoner in a barren concrete swimming pool where he has to perform tricks in front of ignorant people if he wants food (captive slave trade) and because he's not held captive in a small shallow water pen as part of a dolphin petting zoo aka "swim with the dolphins" business.

I totally agree! Have you watched 'The Cove'? Its a great documentery but shows the horrible dolphin trading and killing business.

Yes, once you see it, you can never unsee what it is. Thanks for capturing freedom so beautifully in this pic.

Great shot.. excellent timing...

Absolutely incredible timing. Definitely a well deserved win!

Thanks so much Chase! You've got some epic photos, followed!
