Little Waterloo Bay
I finally got around to spending some time on my own photography. I decided to go to Wilson's Promontory National Park and spend a night camping on the remote east side. To get there though was a 16km hike one-way. Normally a distance like that isn't too difficult for me for just generally walking around. What I failed to consider was the full effect of the 25kg of camping and photography gear I'd be carrying there and back. I barely made it back alive (probably over dramatic but I have more blisters than I'd like and I was limping for a few days after)
Anyway here is one of the shots from that expedition

Beautiful, love the whole Prom area!
The colours are glorious. If it was me I don't think I would have made it back! Well worth your efforts though!
If it was 1km longer I think I would have set up camp again on the path :D
Lol, were you on your own carrying that all yourself?
I was. I had my camping backpack on the back and my camera gear on the front
Oh my goodness, that would have been full on for sure! What an awesome effort!!!
Cool mate. Glad to see your getting out there ;-)
And good to see your back on steem ;-) BTC going nuts today hopefully steem can kick out of its slumber.
I'll be back for a few more days at least as I have some more photos to share ;)
I'm still slack with my return engagement though. Need to step up my game there.
BTC is climbing a little. Think it will beat its previous high?
Yep. 50K by the end of the year.

Thank you very much 😃
Did you photograph this magnificent picture using some kind of Nd/polarizer filter?? Or just from it own pure lens? I been hard time to photograph picture with sky and foreground with a dramatic lightning... :(

I use NiSi filters. This shot was taken using a 6-stop ND filter and a 3 stop graduated ND filter
you combine nd and graduated nd filter with screw filter-on lens?
Not screw on filters, I use the 100mm NiSi system
ahh.. that's a very great product sir...
I've been there 10 years ago. 33 km, hiking all day was strenuous but fun. So many different kinds of landscapes too, the Prom never gets boring :)
