Some of the interesting granite shapes at Dog Rocks outside of Geelong.

This was a short exposure but I used a bit of my fake long exposure technique, which you can learn how to do here:

Oh wow ok that just embedded it automatically...

It was a beautiful calm morning with some warm glowing light. I even watched some kangaroos have a fight

So pretty ! I love this shot, Kieran :D And I also love the video clip and those two kangaroos at it :D The way they tilt their heads back as they play/fight is hilarious XD

They were at it for a few minutes, then just seemed to tolerate each others presence.

I kinda dig the elevator music. ;)
This is such a handy trick. I can think of a few photos that I'm going to try this on. Thanks!

It's a bit of fun and can make a photo that looked kind of ordinary look more interesting. Let me know if you try it, I'd love to see the results! Even if it's just here.
I've seen the technique used on instagram a bit, I can never tell whether it's because of my video but some people have tagged me. One thing I would suggest though is keeping the centre of the radial blur on or just under the horizon. It looks weird if it's above the horizon.

Nice mate. I have only used radial blur once for this shot

as it was a massive multi shot stitch and the sky was all funky and out of sync due to the speed of the clouds and how long it took to shoot all the base shots. it does a nice job thats for sure.

A good use of it! And those details! 76mp though...could get that in a single shot these days 😄

Yes lol The new Sony A7R IV specs seems crazy; I just hope they improve the moving autofocus with long telephotos as it was so slow and shitty on the III compared to Canon and I shoot a lot of wildlife and cant justify just having a dedicated landscape body no matter how beautiful. I shot that peak as a stitch because I would have needed a 4mm lens to shoot that wide (rather than for the extra MP). I am happy with my 26MP of the 6DII for now.
