Colours and Colours....and more colours.
I travel a ton. So I stay in a lot of hotel rooms. As long as it's clean I usually don't have too much to say. But it's the little design issues that have a huge impact on your stay. The one thing I can't figure out is shower design.
The last two hotel rooms I've stayed in have gorgeous showers. Fully glassed in little rooms with rain head showers. Glorious.
The problem is that from the door, you have to reach past the shower head to get to the shower controls.
So picture this. You wake up. Stumble into the bathroom, and try to turn on the shower. One of two things happens. You either scald yourself, or you freeze yourself. There's no other option...as you have to reach past to get to the controls. Why can't they just put the door on backwards....or put the shower controls on the opposite wall? WHYYY???
So why are we talking about hotel showers. Well, these pictures are of the Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs. They don't have shower problems as they have older style tubs, with curtains...that work just fine. They also have a stunning facility that is so insta/steemit ready it's crazy.
Some places are just begging to be taken pictures of.
I'm pretty sure they know that though.

Awesome composition & color blocking in these photos! Sometimes i think it's a blessing in disguise to get shocked awake by the precarious placement of the shower controls but maybe that's bc i'm like a zombie until coffee hits the veins. Nice work!
Maybe i should have coffee before showering...that way no surprises!
Right?! It's like a cruel game... make the shower modern and fancy and comfortable then mess with you when you try to turn it on! Been there.

Me too. For some reason they have this figured out in the desert.

Dysfunctional freezing/scalding shower stalls made of gold are probably the blue collars getting revenge on the 1%... There is probably a secret button that activates the perfect temperature!
