A conversation with a ghost

This photo is from that one time where I tried to talk to a ghost. She just sat there staring at me, and I stared back - neither one of us spoke for quite a while.

I asked why she was still here....and she told me she missed having waffles in the morning. She painted such a vivid picture of melting butter and syrup filling the tiny golden pockets of deliciousness. She told me that there were no waffles on the other side, so it wasn't worth going....she'd rather stay.

Having no waffles sounds like hell to me.

I told her it was a pretty strange place to wait for waffles and unfortunately I didn't have any waffles to share. So the conversation was a little short.

Either that or it was just an empty chair in a field, surrounded by lavender.
