Amazing photography 👍🏻😍😍

Oz film maker place right?

Sorry I am not sure what you mean?

Great motive! I love such natural art stuff - black sands are not so common here in Norway... I heard about black beaches in Iceland, but not where I live, and its a big pity - bacause it looks unreal. Together with white drift wood make nice contrast. Good composition. Like it.

Thanks ! The black sand beaches are beautiful to photograph. They are not so practical if they get too hot to walk on however!

Yes, I can imagine :). I was once in black beach in Crete island - it was imposible to touch the sand with bare foot.

Would love to get to Crete !

It is great place to be, just avoid the summer season, the island is crazy crowded, I was there in October- still very warm and not so much people.

A cool picture. I know it is probably me living in the middle of know where and not really thinking about volcanoes being in England but I never knew you could get black sand. It makes sense and looks amazing in photographs too.

Yes black sand its quite special. Lots of it on the pacific rim of fire countries (Indonesia, NZ, Japan etc)

Now you mention it , having black sand in those areas is only logical. It is just something I never considered as a possibility. Now that i'm over my shock I'm going to have a look through your other posts and photographs mate. cheers

Thanks. Hope you find something interesting ;-)

I have yet to see black sand as fine as that. It looks powdery. If I stare long enough, I can imagine an animal rising from the tip of the driftwood.

Yes it’s almost like fine mineral dust.

Loving the colors of the driftwood- it almost looks painted into the photo!
