Yeah sometimes they can be extremely flighty. I find that if they are feeding they don’t seem to mind your presence as much. Where did you see them?

The first time I saw them they were in relatively shallow water about 2 kms south of Seal Rocks NSW (back in day when the Grey Nurse sharks were really abundant there) and the second time I saw them they were in much deeper water off Fingal Island near Port Stephens NSW.
