Odd, we always noticed that the cold was an issue when our dog got older and he died naturally at the end of Oct, but we were probably going to have to put him down before the winter hit. He had been in a lot of pain the year before, but luckily the cold ended early and he started to do better.
Maybe the new meds are doing more then you think...fingers crossed!
The hips...that is the one that seems to be the downfall for so many older people. Once the hip breaks it's all downhill. 99 is an amazing amount of time to get to spend on this planet, if we could all be so lucky.
It depends on what the problem is on the bones and joints. By Snoop, it's the inflammation inside the joints that blooms as soon as it warms up. If the disease is rheumatic, you need the warmth to relieve the pain.
Well still hope the meds are doing better then you think and you get one more good summer!
