LOL yes it is long but doable, I had a friend who when he retired from NYC went home via Cruise and other ships rather than flying and loved the experience
You know if you could handle traveling that way it would be a awesome experience you know how much you would see and imagine the photography you could do i wouldn't mind doing it that way actually it's one way of really seeing the world :)
I would happily do that myself, but MY Wife has a fear of boats and i would never get her to agree to going on a trip like that so here we will stay :)

Ohhhh..that's a shame boats are pretty cruise , you could tie her to the rails so she doesn't go sliding around...hehe....kidding...lol :)
