Adventurous Eastern Water Dragon #5
'Running Scared!'
This is my entry for this week's Wednesday photochallenge. Theme: 'Plants or Animals.
(The lizard image is real but I have added the background to add some drama.)
So far, my adventurous Eastern Water Dragon has visited a misty forest, climbed a large rock to enjoy a beautiful sunset, played amongst autumn leaves and rescued a damsel in distress whilst traveling to the big city.
From one precarious situation to another, he is now running for his life whilst being chased by a 'scary,' flying dragon in unidentified, rocky terrain.
He obviously doesn't see himself as large and scary himself, and has therefore allowed a playful but pesky, much smaller dragon to intimidate and frighten him.
It reminds me of some real live situations we often find ourselves in where we allow our perceptions to exaggerate the negatives and create danger and stress when, in fact there isn't any.
I do hope my adventurous dragon will realize that there is no need to run before he is forced off the edge of cliff and plunge down into to a deep ravine at the bottom. Hopefully, he will survive this part of his journey and return soon to show us his next interesting location. Stay tuned!
