#photochallenge : Sky Blue Friday

Usually my photos while in an airplane end up blurry or washed out. This particular trip, I was able to capture the Cascade Mountain range, from Bend, OR up into what looks like Washington State. I'm no cartographer or geologist, but I'm pretty sure the three mountains closest are the Three Sisters outside of Bend, Oregon. With the center mountain farthest away being Mount Hood outside of Portland, Oregon and the two snowcapped mountains on the very edge of the horizon are Mount St. Helens (left) and Mount Rainier (right) - both are in Washington State. I'm really glad I captured such a stunning view of the Pacific Northwest from the window seat of an airplane.
