Simple photo editing using Instagram!

Many awesome pictures are taken everyday but a bulk of them would have been even better with the help of photo editing apps. Filters can be very handy when you want to add colour & beauty if applied correctly. Many photo editing application exits today. Common ones includes Picsart, lidow, Inshot, VSCO, Instagram and so many others.
Countless times, people come to me to help them work on their pictures to bring out the best in them. Therefore today, this post is onvu how to edit a picture using the common instagram app.

I took the picture of some deciduous tree using a Gionee phone with a 8.0megapixel camera.
This are the simple steps i took

• Step 1
  Choosing a filter to use is quite confusing. Well i decided not to use any filter on this picture. So i just left it at normal
  

• Step 2
  Click edit just beside filter to see other photo control variable
  

• Step 3
  At this stage all you need to do is to play with all these variables one after the other. I usually trt with brightness
  

• Step 4
  Next up is the contrast. Contrast is the difference in brightness between objects or regions. It highlights the sun-kissed regions It is important you balance the brightness & contrast or you might end up having an ugly picture. Brightness & contrast are relative.
  

• step 5
  Structure helps to increase picture details. Do this moderately to avoid contours on your picture.
  

• Step 6
  saturation is the intensity, or richness, of the image colour. This is my favorite tool for landscape photography
  

• Step 7
  It's a very hot day & the sun is about 15° from the tree. In my mind, i want to achieve an image with casted shadows. Therefore i increased the shadow intensity by reducing the shadow & highlight to -79 & -51 respectively.
  

• Step 8
  Finally i sharpened the details a little.
  

• step 9
  Branding is important, so i used text on picsart to sign on the picture ImohDave.
  

This is the final product after editing. I hope you guys like it😉.
