My Experience & thoughts for today.

It's funny how business owners / entrepreneurs invest so much money in their business without recording any growth. As an employer, there are little details you must you must chew over to ensure the success of your business. Among these details is the attitude & disposition of your employees towards their work. This can go a long way to make or mar the growth of your business.
Today, i went to an organization to make enquiry about the goods and services they offer. As i got to the reception, i met an unethical scene of the boss yelling at his employees in front of customers. image source
This defined my perception about the quality of the services rendered by the organization. I tried to block the thoughts of what i just experienced to maintain a sound mind in other to be able to consider all the services they offer critically. However, the attitude around the building quickly turned sour and uncomfortable. Workers became uneasy & hostile towards enquiring customers, grumbling about virtually everything. As i left the premises, i was so sure the company just lost a potential customer in me.
Its very important for you as an employer to maintain a good business environment. If you go about yelling at your workers & making them unhappy, you risk the satisfaction of your customers. Sometimes, you might be tempted to yell at your workers as a way of correcting them but you should avoid doing this in front of other co-workers & customers. It is important to keep your employees happy by increasing their salary when due, giving extra work bonuses, rewarding good stewardingship, etc.
The manner you treat your employees is the mirror image of the way your esteemed customers are treated.
