After a couple of hours trekking with our guide, we finally can see the sign that we are at the peak of Mount Ambanaw Paway. The feeling of fulfillment is there, we can smell it in the air. I felt carefree reaching this first summit.The terrain is a bit rough, the pines are nowhere to be found. Just a huge rock formation with different kinds of grasses. This is a continuation of my photo-blog Trekking Mt. Ulap.
The sky was still filled with morning clouds. The breeze was cold as it lightly touched my skin. We passed by other hikers who were earlier than us, probably they were too tired to continue so they decided to take a rest.
The view from up there was breathtaking, I momentarily rethink my being. I felt an accomplishment of some sort. Just like the tenacity of that single tree on top of the hill. Isn't it beautiful?
I also captured the view with my wife as my only model to add contrast.
Here is our proof that we reached the peak of the 1st mountain.
