Man Is Too Full Of Himself Right Now
Man created God to help him process the unknown. We now have tools other than religion for this purpose; personal relationships are more information-rich, and science is providing more answers than ever about the unknown. But religion did a more thorough job and we now face a dearth of humility because we think we have all the answers.
We don't, and there are still many forces in our world we don't control or even understand well. This creates dangerous ignorance about threats from climate change to excess drinking.
