Life's such a beautiful thing, don't you think?
We keep asking for more and more and more, but at the end we forget to live life. Unfortunately, when some of us realize it, it's way too late to do anything about it.
So manyyyyyyyyy of us keep going after money, when deep inside we all know that money can't buy you the most important things in life!
It can't buy you the unconditional love a beloved person will give you effortlessly...the passionate love your partner (who's deeply in love with you) will make to you...the glory of achieving or winning something that can't be bought with all the money in the world (an athlete's or scientist's or artist's glory)...the first smile of your offspring...the last sunset you will ever see before departing this vain world!!!
So many things that money can't buy you, with true love and time being the most obvious...Tik Tok Tik Tok Tik Tok!!! Can you hear it? Can you hear father time running faster than you? Money can't stop him...Nobody has, or ever will.
So many things money will never buy you, yet we keep chasing them like brainwashed fools who have no other choice in life. It's all about what you got, not about WHO YOU ARE!
And when you realize that you have all you ever asked for, you find out that you're still not happy about it. Why? Because you forgot to say THANK YOU for the two things that no one EVER asked you to pay for: breathing and dreaming!
I know I have been a harsh critic of Steemit at times, but I fully realize the platform's lucrative prowess. It will help you make money even when you ponder money's true value. I can't think of ANYTHING or ANYONE who can do what Steemit does on this specific department. Isn't that something now?

You're laughing, but I'm practically quoting here... I haven't seen a post saying you have a right to sell your mother or wife if you feel you can profit off of the transaction... yet, but the conclusion coming from the thesis of self-interest first comes very near.

It's pretty straightforward I think. If a randist, so a greedy objectivist, thinks one should put one's ego in the centre as in "my ego is the objective and ultimate measure of all things", then there's nothing, that can counterbalance that, is there?
But there are MILLIONS of people who "sell" their husband or wife or mother or even children one way or another in the name of profit. Don't you think or to be more specific, don't you see it around you?
