The competition is over!

There is no need for any competition! We have already won! We have won the most wonderful and priceless thing we could ever imagine: LIFE.

As we go through painful periods in our life, we often do not think about life in this manner. Either we look at life from an evolutionary or a creationist perspective; we are the result of a continuous process of evolution. As our body and mind are still changing, now at much faster rate, we are not the end result of the evolutionary process.

We are now facing a lot of difficulties and experiencing crises in many different areas. The environmental, economic and psychological issues are all interconnected and we cannot analyze them separately. Our problems aren’t really problems; it is just the natural process of evolution.

In order for new things to arise, old ones must die

We see them as problems, because we lack the outside perspective. We go through pain and suffering because we do not understand what is happening. In the last century, the desire for wealth and power has grown bigger and bigger, making us more and more unhappy and unfulfilled.

In our pursuit for external pleasures we have turned against each other, and forgot our humanity. We have done terrible and horrific things to our kind, and for what? Just to chase some fleeting satisfaction, not really of any value. For the sake of power, people have gone to war and many lives were lost. Wars are now being made just to make more money. The desire to accumulate more and more, with any price, is a common thing in our society.

I believe the challenges the world faces are signs of change. We have started to experience a planetary shift of evolution, an evolution of consciousness. People are starting to wake up and see beyond this soul-sucking system. We are starting to realize that we not here for to perform a repetitive cycle of working and buying.

People will not change until circumstances force them to act. We are now being forced into action.

A global shift of consciousness is happening

We see all kinds of movements starting to take place all over the world. From environmental to social movements and alliances, people are getting together to create something. From ideas and concepts of a brighter future for the better of humanity, these communities of people are trying to bring awareness and to make something tangible.

These groups of people have realized that we need to start to work collectively; together and only so, we will have a chance of survival.

Firstly, the change will not come from people with great power or wealth, because they do not want to lose that power. They keep us under control and have no desire to give that power up. Change will also not come from the poor, starving part of the world, as they lack basic necessities and needs for survival and are preoccupied with procuring them. So the change will probably come from people with some access to information, to basic necessities, but not happy with the current situation in the world.

In the midst of seeming chaos, a new world comes to life, a world based on love and compassion.

The change, the revolution is happening inside, and that is what really needs to happen. By changing our perspective, our values, we will change the course of human history. One by one, the change will happen in all people, the whole human race will experience a transformation of consciousness.

I am positive about the future and I see a joyful world, where we could feel safe and protected; a world which I could call “home”.

The world that I hope to live in, offers a healthy environment for self-development and improvement, for self-cooperation, where harmony will replace competition and peace will reign.

The lack of competition doesn’t mean that we will not strive to better ourselves; it means that we will stop comparing each other and start to grow together, as individuals and as a community.

Once we will go beyond our selfish needs and constant approval, we can start to focus on what truly matters. Once we surrender and free ourselves from the idea of rivalry, we can truly evolve.

I see a world where people will start trusting and caring about each other. I see a bright future of humanity, where love and compassion will replace the hatred from the past.
