It’s that time of year, you’ve saved up enough money to take your vacation. Everything is planned, at least the important parts, you’ve had a few days to prepare the bags, there is enough money in the bank for these ten days of leisure to not affect your lifestyle. Those feelings of guilt are nowhere to be found, you deserve it, you worked for it, it’s your right.

Not first class flight but…

   You know the new commercial airline looks pretty promising, and best of all they are priced slightly above your initial budget. You call your best friend, who is also going with you on this trip, he is super grateful you invited him, because he also “needs” the time off.

   The hype is there, the excitement, I mean… Who gets to backpack in Costa Rica for 10 days, visit all the sights, visit the sanctuaries and leave the city behind for 10 freaking days? For sure, not many people pull this off, as you know, life is rough, bills don’t wait, and then you die.

But you guys, you are guys are pretty awesome, you pulled it off.

Inside the Airport, pfff flight delayed… :/

   It’s going to be OK, it’s only 40 minutes, so you are not too worried, besides, the conversations are never running short of subjects. Finally they call everyone for boarding, you have your ticket in hand, you friend and you are smiling thinking of how much fun this is going to be. It’s only some hours away you know? The unique memories to be made, they are just hours away.

   Everyone gets seated, you did not get the window seat as you wanted, but… Who cares, right? The flight is 5 hours, and then the fun starts, that's what matters. You look at your friend, his smile is a little faded, but you can still see it, it’s there, he is still excited for the trip, he knows your vacation planning skills are impeccable.

Finally!! Up in the Air

   You are on our way! So only four hours and 30 minutes to go. You look at your friend again, he is smiling, well he seems tired, but nonetheless, pretty happy. The head Attendant picks up the loudspeaker, announcement time, the movie you were both watching get’s paused, how annoying, but... Oh well.

“Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Corina Garica and I’m your chief flight attendant. On behalf of Captain Rosales and the entire crew, welcome aboard Ninja Airlines flight 845, non-stop service from Orlando to Costa Rica ….Our flight time will be of 4 hours and 18 minutes. We will be flying at an altitude of 10000 feet/meters at a ground speed of 457 miles per hour/kilometers per hour.”

“We would also like to announce a special feature on this Aircraft we are testing, the Aircraft is equipped with WIFI, and you are welcome to use it free of charge, there will be a survey sheet on the seat in front of you, if you would like to leave us some feedback. Thank you for your attention, and thank you for choosing Ninja Airlines”

Smile is Back,all teeth are visible!

   Your now smiling friend, opens up his laptop logs on to Steemit (of course) and starts to blog about his Costa Rica trip in the making. You can see he is super excited, he can't believe how easy it's going to be to blog the whole experience. Ten minutes into the flight, the attendant gets on the loudspeaker again.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the Captain has turned on the fasten seat belt sign. We are now crossing a zone of turbulence. Please return your seats and keep your seat belts fastened, we will be disabling WIFI until further notice. Thank you.”
