The Law of Sacrifice

in #philosophy6 years ago (edited)

Why giving is the best way of receiving.

How far are you willing to go? How much are you prepared to lose? How long can you persist? How much more can you take and keep pushing on? How hard can you get hit before you crumble? How often do you find the motivation to not give up? How many failures can you withstand? That's exactly how successful you will ever be.

See, everything comes with a price. And that's the beauty of life.

The Universe is infinite and chaotic. However, the same chaotic Universe has a very meticulous and precise geometric nature. Maths have long been used to describe its physical properties. Laws of Physics have been observed and studied through experimentation. After all it's been proven that everything is made up of particles, which have purely mathematical properties, such as charge and spin.

Nature is full of math. Even though you won't see any equations by observing our world, you will definitely see the outcome; patterns. The Fibonacci Sequence is observed in pretty much everything in this Universe, from the flowering of an artichoke to our galaxy's shape and motion. Planets follow elliptical orbits and objects thrown in the air follow parabolic trajectories. Nature's beauty stems from its simplicity demonstrated by mathematical patterns.

The laws of physics work and you're bound to them regardless of what kind of person you are. It doesn't really matter if you're a good or a bad person, if you jump from an airplane without a parachute you will get killed. Human ethics do not apply in Nature. There's only unbreakable laws. Laws that you can never dodge or manipulate. Laws that you will inevitably abide by and learn to live with. Even if you knew nothing about their existence they still command your life. Even if we, humans, haven't discovered, or managed to observe all of them yet.

But you don't need this sort of technical knowledge to live a successful life. You don't need to know how your car's engine operates in order to drive home. You definitely don't need to know anything about electromagnetic waves in order to use your cell phone efficiently, and wouldn't need any sort of programming knowledge to send your e-mails. You still live by those laws and rules whether you are aware of their existence or not and the whole world you live in revolves around them.

One of the fundamental laws of Nature is the Law of Sacrifice. Willingness is not enough, action is essential. If you focus on your goal and work for it hard enough, you will succeed. You need to sacrifice your time and energy. You need to test your limits and give it everything you've got. There's no time for sleep. You're never awarded anything in life for taking a rest. It doesn't matter if you believe it or not, it works. It doesn't matter if you're a good or a bad person, it works.

Sacrifice and hard work is what makes winners. Successful people didn't attain their success overnight, there are countless days and nights of exhaustion and mental tiredness on the way to success. There will be days when you will feel like you want to just give up. But you have to find that inner strength and motivation to not be a quitter. Everybody fails; it's persistence that makes a winner. Losers take defeat personally and crumble while winners perceive failure as an opportunity for growth. Failure is not permanent, you can come back stronger and succeed. It doesn't matter if you believe it or not, it works. It doesn't matter if you're a good or a bad person, it works.

Sacrifice means to overcome fatigue and laziness. It means to spend your time working, focusing on your future instead of just having fun. Fun is great, and what would this life be without fun, but business comes first. We're talking about success here. If you were about to retire I'm sure you wouldn't have made it so far in this post, so let's save this discussion for later. A thirst for success is what brought you here and I respect that. But are you willing to sacrifice? The road to success is lonely and always under construction. You give, you take. It doesn't matter if you believe it or not, it works. It doesn't matter if you're a good or a bad person, it works.

“The entrepreneurial life is one of challenge, work, dedication, perseverance, exhilaration, agony, accomplishment, failure, sacrifice, control, powerlessness... but ultimately, extraordinary satisfaction.”

Thanks for stopping by!

This is a detailed, well-articulated write up on making sacrifice. I'm particularly excited by how you tied it to the unbending natural principles and laws which make the discussion more effective as no one is able to cheat nature. Truth is that no one can escape from the consequences of his actions or the lack of them. Whether you call it karma, law of cause and effect, or whatever, in fact whether you're aware or not, it still takes effect. I like the repetitive emphasis you placed on 'It doesn't matter if you're a good or bad person, it works.'

Scientists and mystics over the ages have spoken of nature's beauty unceasingly and this stems from its simplicity demonstrated by mathematical patterns. I am reminded of Pythagoras Theorem and the philosopher's claim that God geometrizes.

It is true that where the Law of Sacrifice is concerned, willingness is not enough, but action must back it up. And for success to be attained determined, purposeful and focused action is compulsory. Hence it is said that if you focus on your goal and work for it hard enough, you will succeed. This ties effectively with the Law of Attraction.

Yes you're right, that it's the thirst for success is what brought us here. And it is not a coincidence to read your words at this time. It's quiet uplifting and encouraging of a fellow traveller.

@syngbojus Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a considerate and thoughtful response. I'm really glad you liked my post.

Sacrifice in situation where your capability is just to help one person out of two important person in your life

way out please?

@ezinwakenneth Ask yourself this question. Listen to your heart. There are many factors I would have to take into consideration in order to respond with accuracy, which I know nothing about. Even if I did, I would still come up with a solution that comforts me, but not necessarily you as well.

Only you know who you truly are and what you truly desire.

Nice post , it's better giving than recived , good luck with your knoledge , I like the chess too

–"Sacrifice means to overcome fatigue and laziness."_

Sacrifice means to forgone that thing you cherish most just to please that moment of someone. It goes a long way beyond that little words. Sacrifices leads you to your destination in life.

Great motivational post....
Nice , keep up the good work...

Thank you so much!

You're absolutely right. Hard work and dedication are what it takes to really make it. It won't always be easy, but it's worth it, more often than not. Good post mate.

Two thumbs up. This is inspiring information.
