Getting Things Done

Getting Things Done
Ask “What” questions
Get in the habit of asking yourself what you need to change or do differently in your life to achieve your goals. Asking “what” questions help you to better plan the steps you may want to take to get the positive results you're seeking.
Visualize things the way you want them to be.
If you have a big goal, visualizing could help you to more readily embrace the challenge. Visualize the outcome of your work. Practice adding feeling to your vision. Just think about how good it would feel to have things exactly as you envision them. Imagine the satisfactory feeling of accomplishment and allow it to flow as you plan and work toward your goal.
Over time the practice of supercharging you vision with positive feelings along your journey could make a huge difference in reducing stress and enhancing your sense of progress.
Routinely take time to practice how good it would feel to achieve your big goal.
Practice seeing and feeling the pleasure of success. Try to feel it as perfectly as you want to be.
Write it down
Write down your goals and measure your actual progress. Remember “what gets measured gets done.”
Be flexible
Try not to be too hard on yourself along the way. Be willing to learn something new or revise your plans if you run into unexpected challenges.
Summary
Figure out what you can or should do, visualize the intended result, write it all down (the goal and how you will achieve it) then emotionally connect to the realization of getting it done.
