Thinking Bubble : Can an AI think ?

Today a new thought bubble has just burst after a discussion with a friend and long hours spent watching videos. I have been wondering for a moment if thought is a purely human thing. And we will explore that in several parts.

This is a philosophical question of course (like most questions asked about this post series) and so there is not necessarily a valid answer but I will try to explain why we think. First of all let's see from a scientific point of view why we live, every organism in the universe has only one main purpose, to survive or to ensure the continuity of the species. Since we are not yet immortal, the only way to ensure the continuity of the species is to reproduce, and this is true for all organisms on Earth, but as soon as we are born we can not reproduce. We must be able to ensure our survival until the offspring is insured. That's why most animals are endowed with a lot of nervous systems that allow them to survive, such as instinct, anxiety, and a whole lot of other things you know. But that does not explain why we think, because you understand that thought is a process that goes beyond our primary needs, we can say that it is a cause of evolution, but I'm not sure given that evolution in Scientific sense has nothing to do with psychology.Now I think we can say that thought is due to the fact that sometimes we are making decisions and that our intelligence makes us think about choosing the most viable solution, to think we use the thought so weighing the pros and cons of each choice by imagining the consequences that would ensue. I put the word imagining in bold because it is a process that we can achieve only through thought. I think I've found a reason enough to explain why the human being thinks, now we can imagine that every being who can face a dilemma must be able to think to overcome this problem (instead of making a choice random)

First of all it is necessary that one can define an Artificial Intelligence (which one will abbreviated AI later). A simple and rather vague definition that can be given to describe an AI is simply a computer program that allows people to perform tasks that are accomplished by using their intelligence. This can be for example math, playing a game of chess or go game. The goal of an AI is to do this task in the best way. So we can say that your calculator has an AI yet we all know that a calculator can not think, simply because it should not make any decision, it was programmed to give some output values ​​as a result of a calculation entered, by each calculation there is only one possibility. Unlike solving mathematical calculations, AIs capable of playing chess have to make decisions but the way these artificial intelligences are created does not require the reflection of the AI ​​they work through probability calculations in order to calculate the best choice, the nuance visible here is that the AI ​​is forced to use a system imitating human intelligence but yet that requires no reflection because they are mathematical calculations, there is so only one choice per entry. Currently many AIs are able to make decisions that many men are not able to take, but they are not able to make decisions that require emotional thinking in order to make a choice, so AIs are able to solve only problems created by men.
