Being in a continuous state of happiness that is always smiling is not possible except the person is on drugs even that wears off sooner or later.It would be weird to be see a person smiling when he receives a sad news.To sum it up we are a product of our surroundings .
Yup, emotions aren't meant to be always on either side of the spectrum.
