***Proverbs 6:6 *** Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
Now, I'm a huge fan of good ol' Uncle Scrooge McDucks's advise:
Work Smarter Not Harder!
But there are some jobs that you just can't outsmart. You just gotta grind it out til it's done.
Never quit!
Never give up!
Never surrender!
For as long as the job ain't done, the work ain't done.
Too many people these days have developed a mouse-farts worth of a work ethic.
Maybe it's from too much entertainment.
Maybe it's from the philosophy where everyone gets a participation ribbon for simply breathing.
I really can't be sure.
Proverbs 18:9 He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.
Proverbs 12:11 The one who works his field will have plenty of food, but whoever chases daydreams lacks wisdom.
One thing I am sure of, however, is this:
My children will grow up to know that a little hard work can go a long way in providing for themselves and for those entrusted to their care.
Acts 20:35 By all these things, I have shown you that by working in this way we must help the weak, and remember the words of the Lord Jesus that he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
They will know that a little hard work won't kill them, rather it will only make them stronger for having persevered.
Proverbs 13:4The appetite of the sluggard craves but gets nothing, but the desire of the diligent will be abundantly satisfied.
They will know the satisfaction that comes when, after their bodies and their wills are tested to their limits, they accomplish the task that was asked of them.
Proverbs 14:23 In all hard work there is profit, but merely talking about it only brings poverty.
Most importantly, my children will know that the work ethic they are receiving as a core family value is really a gift from God.
Ecclesiastes 5:19-20 As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God. For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart.
Proverbs 6:7-12 It has no commander, overseer, or ruler, yet it prepares its food in the summer; it gathers at the harvest what it will eat. How long, you sluggard, will you lie there? When will you rise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to relax, and your poverty will come like a robber, and your need like an armed man.
Colossians 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
1 Thessalonians 4:9-12
9 Now on the topic of brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another. 10 And indeed you are practicing it toward all the brothers and sisters in all of Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more, 11 to aspire to lead a quiet life, to attend to your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you. 12 In this way you will live a decent life before outsiders and not be in need.

Thanks for Reading!
Never give up,thank you this inspire me
Thank you, great read.
You can never overestimate the value in teaching someone the value of hard work. It's such a gift! And one I hope our children understand before they are fully grown.
I love reading about your family values.
To see parents instilling these into their children, and having the patience and love to do it is so inspiring and wonderful to see and read about.
Good values you're teaching your children, does not matter what job you do, what matters is that we work with a giving heart, all to God's glory! Thank you @bluerthangreen :)
There's something so fulfilling about a hard day's work. It's reward is a peaceful night's sleep.
I have no reason to give up, I have no reason to surrender, I will keep pushing hard
