Selective Transparency

Transparency is a very important aspect of life. Even if you choose to be silent at critical points then you can just exploit your position by withholding information which was meant to be shared. Steem blockchain is one example of transparency because once anything is on blockchain, theoretically its stays forever on the chain.

If you are main representative of a public community then your decisions/thoughts should not be entirely private - concerning community matters.
People can sometimes question your integrity and could demand proof of transparency from you. Even when proof is provided and same action is required of them, they simply choose not to apply same act on themselves and label it as matter of private business. How exactly would you trust a person who says one thing but in terms of actions/transparency just label it as 'Private Matter'?

This form of distorted transparency should not be exercised by community leaders including our top witnesses.
