Maybe Jesus wasn't a real literal person, but is a metaphor for the sun, and he walks on water and turns water to wine the same way the sun does. Through reflections in terms of walking on water and time and sunlight plus the seed and soil and rain(water) eventually becomes wine. -.-

Whether he was a real historical person or not, I think it seems decently clear that he was also a metaphor for the sun that gives our planet life. There are many other examples as well, like the 12 apostles linking up with 12 signs of the zodiac, and certain dates in regards to Jesus's alleged life line up with astrological things happening in the skies. If any of that sounds curious to you and you've never heard that before I suggest looking into astrotheology. It's an interesting study!

I really approve of this symbolic interpretation of Jesus. I never really compared Jesus to the sun before. I have made many comparisons before but this is truly a great one.

Glad to hear. It's generally consider more occult type of knowledge, like hidden or "esoteric". Which is more true, who knows.. But.. The people who teach this kind of stuff generally refer to it as the inner mysteries, as if it's a higher level of knowledge than the "outer" versions.. As I said, who knows.. But.. I think it's good to consider the different options! Glad you appreciated.

Right! And the solstice / resurrection / 3 kings ... deeply fascinating shenanigans!

If cucumbers are 90% water, then when I walk on them I'm 90% Jesus.

Hahahahah. Good one.

I touched upon something similar before. Well about the sun that is!

Oh? Would you be gracious enough to share?

Of course, I would be glad to. It's a very tongue in cheek piece on the main level about the lack of Sun in Scotland however I was writing it with the idea of Jesus in mind. I think a few people got it

This.... I've never heard of something so fresh! (perspective, that is).

I've always been bugged by Jesus's birthday. traditionally it's 25th December. which is the same day as the birth of Ra, the Sun God of the Ancient Egyptian Pantheon.

I've heard of astrotheology before but i've not really delve into it. I'll sure read up on it!

Definitely some interesting correlations between Christian lore and Egyptian lore. I think it's clear Christian lore carried over a lot from them, and other cultures and times prior as well. The Jesus story to me is more likely a continuation of a certain kind of character.. Maybe it was a real person at some point, but.. Even if not.. It's an interesting character. I think most people either want to "save" others or they themselves want to be "saved" in various ways.. So, it is a really powerful idea regardless of the veracity of it in literal terms.

Glad you appreciated!

Putting the spirituality aspects asides. Religious texts like the bible and the many mythological lore in itself is already much too precious anthropologically in terms of its literature value. Sort of a peek into how our ancestors think and speak.

which is why i can definitely appreciate this from a literature and philosophical angle.
