There are positive things that social media brings to us . Faster communication , easier information dissimination , The chance to find lost ones or get reunited. It can also be used for businesses , online advocacies and charities and many more to mention.

On the other hand ,there are also negatives like less personal interaction with family and friends , like you are physically present but out with the internet world. Also , since you are too focused with gadgets and online things you are more likely to have less time for your personal responsibilities or probably house chores. And the other thing is that there are matters that's rather kept private or told private but being done or said thru social media.

So the fact is , there are people who loves to be on social media , but there are also those whou chose to be out of it. But let's check some reasons , why we love to use different social media sites.

(1) There are funny things in it

Being on social media sites allows us to see some funny thibgs that can make us laugh and happy. But sometimes there are funny posts that harsh for others , so if you think it would hurt somebody ,consider others and be cautious on liking and sharing it.

(2) Can freely share and be true

• There are people who loves to posts and share in social media because they feel they are free to express themselves ,and that they can be who they want to be*

(3) Can be famous

We all know specially now a days that a lot of video/people are going viral just by simply uploading photos and videos on social media sites. Sometimes helpful and inspirational but sometimes disgusting and immoral.

(4) Used as business or any promotional reasons

Since a lot of people are on social media , indeed it's a right olace to find customers and promote your products or services .

There are surely a lot more reasons around there, but these are just few that i can think of right now. Social media is an innovation that was created to help us, people . We should know what , when where to click right, for one move can change something or can affect someone in either nice or wrong way. And remember that, we are the ones who need to control social media and it's not social media that should control us. We are human, and yes we need to socialize but be sure to be wise and be kind.
