Foldabots inspired art: Argond the Human Slayer Dragon and Enderia
Hello again everyone and I will show you my art about transformer made of vellum board (or just simply paper)!
You wonder, what does Foldabots means?
Foldabots are actually Filipino version of transformers made of paper or carton! It was originally made by Jomike Tejido, the original creator of Foldabots :3. I am a huge fan of his art when I was a child and makes my own version of Foldabots... I am really amazed on how creative he was. I am inspired of his works :3.
The character shown is Argond the Human Slayer Dragon! He is an actual dragon who can transform into a huge humanoid robot who wields a sword, whose name is Enderia. Enderia is also a dragon who can transform into a sword and be Argond's greatest weapon who slays humans and save the dragons from its extinction!
His primary power in the Foldabot form is in his sword Enderia. Enderia's power can negate attacks and impact such as a punch... or a bullet train! Other than the sword's power, he has also his own power to sense human location and also of the dragons. The mark on his chest is the source of his life energy and power. He has also a impenetrable scales which he uses to defend himself against knights swords or archer's shooting arrows. His only weakest part is in his heart.
In dragon form, Argond can fly and dash in an instant that he is almost teleporting! His strong long neck is full of impenetrable scales and cannot be removed easily and thorn apart. His mouth can rip off a human body, even he/she wears an armor! Enderia has the same power as Argond in dragon form!
Together, they form a great partner who saves dragons from the threat of humans!
I'll show you the whole parts of Argond and Enderia
If you like, I can also give you the parts through discord account or at the comments, though I don't know how to share them in a post T^T.
I'll also show you the process on how to assemble the dragon and how to transform it.
First, cut the Border Lines and place the parts. I recommend to attach the texts beside the other parts since it's the guide for the assembly parts to avoid confusions and mistake on attaching the parts.
Attach the main body on its own. Use glue or any adhesives. The broken likes are guides to fold that part.
Fold the neck of the dragon like this. ( Or not exactly just fold it more like this).
Attach the horns of the dragon. For those who are confused, just simply follow the indicated text assigned in their attachments. For example: The Horn A at the top part will be attached by the Horn A. For those who mixed the orders already, the top and the bottom horns are the longest one and the shortest horns are attached at the middle part of the neck.
Attach the wings in their respective attachments, like this. Wing A attachment to Wing A and so on.
Attach the tail and fold it with the broken lines as guide. As mush as possible, fold the tail like this.
Then, attach the legs. (Uh... for those who mixed the legs already... that's a big problem)
Don't worry, if you mixed the leg parts already and forgot their respective part, the legs facing at the right part are for the dragon's right side. ( I hope it didn't confused you)
Then, vice versa for the other legs of the dragon.
Then, attach the left and right arm at the dragon's body. Attach them inside his body.
For the finishing attachments, attach Enderia, the sword on his right arm. DON'T USE GLUE just simply insert the sword in the cut part, at his hand.
...and that's how we made Argond the Human Slayer in Foldabot mode! To transform him into dragon mode, simply detach Enderia in his right hand and fold or insert the hands inside his body and face his body to the ground.
And that's how I made my art!
To transform him back to Foldabot mode, do the previous instruction in reverse.
Hope you'd appreciated it!
