PHILIPPINE TARANTULA
Hi steemians!! While I was walking at our backyard, I saw a decomposing dead trunk of a tree coated and wrapped with a thick web. I then lifted the trunk and I was surprised what was beneath the dead trunk. It was a baby tarantula. This tarantula are native in the philippines. I did not think that this kind of spider is living at our backyard because they are usually spotted at a forest or in a moist area.
I once had a pet tarantula but it was as big as my palm. I caught it at the forest of Nug-as, Alcoy,Cebu,Philippines but then I released it because I could not feed it regularly. I feed my tarantula an alive crickets ang grasshoppers but for now, I only have a one pet spider. It is just an ordinary spider.Have a look at my orb weaver spider.
