96/365: Entry for Artstorm Contest #75 - Camping Vacation
Wonderful Saturday everyone!
Came across this art contest earlier and decided to make my own "Camping Vacation" entry because I needed some outlet to make my mind a bit more relaxed since I've been preoccupied with a lot of workloads lately.
I used my Samsung Note 8 in creating it.
I am not an artist (obviously) haha. But, art is a good form of therapy. So for those who have burn out problems at work, or in life in general. You may try making your own art. Nobody expects you to be as good as Da Vinci, you just have to express yourself freely.
Here are the screenshots as a proof the that the artwork is originally mine.
I made the background first then followed by the tree. Initial plan was to draw a pine tree, but I opted to draw that one because pine tree was harder. Hahahaha.
I made the tent next. So its an open tent with two beds inside.
Followed by the sea. I wanted to draw 2 boats but it was a fail, like super fail, so I decided to just undo it. Nevermind. Haha.
For the final details, I drew the 4 people who are having a great time around a camp fire, and 1 of them is holding a guitar. I included some trees, bushes, and rocks. I also added the moon and stars to convey that it was a perfect night to camp.
Who else wants this set up?

Hi @meetmysuperego, by the way love the username... hilarious 😆, anyways this is a wonderful looking piece of artwork, I love it. There’s more to artwork than just the image, it’s also what your trying to convey. This is a nice camp site next to the water, everyone’s sitting next to the fire, one of them is holding a guitar(do you play guitar?) I see you love music, nice feature. Big roomy tent for everyone to sleep in. And what a beautiful location to set up camp in. You say your not an artist, but your selling your self short my friend. I especially like the way you created your trees, you have got talent, hope to see you here again. I’m an artist who is a regular here on Artstorm, Welcome!
That looks like a lovely, relaxing vac :)
