Thanking the Brave Firefighters of Davao with Free Pizza
I guess it’s safe to say that PIZZA will always come to the rescue when you need it the most. And if you deserve it. A while ago, I saw this post in Facebook regarding the unfortunate fire in the NCCC Mall of Davao this morning. Hopefully, the fire has been extinguished by now and no person were harmed. Going back, the firefighters and rescue team were quick to respond as I think there are already people inside the mall because of Christmas rush — there’s only like 2 days left before Christmas! The next thing that happened will bring good vibes...
Out of nowhere, some personnels of S&R ran into the scene bringing with them a cart full of pizzas. They actually offered free pizza to those brave individuals! Can you just take a look at that photo? They look so badass as if they’re in an action-thriller movie. A Train to Busan-like scene, perhaps? Shoutout to the McDonald’s logo as well for having a cameo appearance. LOL
This act of kindness is one of the reasons why I’m proud to be a Filipino. Those firefighters and rescue team deserved it for their service, bravery, and dedication. Kudos to S&R! Thank you for bringing out the good in this bad situation. We need this kind of positivity in our life. Again, I hope that no one got hurt. And again, there’s just two days left before Christmas!
